Debbie and me walked around school today while waiting for Celine. I have no idea why we didn't just sit down but there we were, going up and down the stairs, going back and forth the same route we took, looking at everything and everyone until....
BOOM!
The most loudest, angriest and fiercest thunder I've ever heard, struck. Even the lightning was such a bright, white flash that it immediately grabbed my fullest attention. And it happened right in front of where we were heading to. Well outdoors anyway. We were safe under the shelter near the basketball court. I did not scream mind you, I simply shrieked and grabbed Debbie's arm and squeezed it until I reminded myself to let go. Well that taught us a lesson. We got to the bench nearby and sat there until Celine came.
Debbie didn't really scream too. She was kinda in a daze, shock and laughing at the same time. She told me later that the uncle who takes care of school property or whatever immediately covered the top of his head and tried to run away but turned around to remind the people at the basketball court to stop playing. If you really, desperately want to know how funny it was, go ask Debbie and she'll do a demo for you. :D I have to admit though, that uncle was brave and responsible enough to remind them players.
