Firstly, I'm sorry that I didn't watch a movie with you, Debbie! I wanted to watch the show real bad and I didn't want to wait til Sunday. But I was right Debbie, I did scream and I think you would've too. It was that scary.
Did my post title scare you? :D Don't worry, it wasn't referring to me. It's the title of the movie I watched with Sabrinah just yesterday. I went out with just her but I would rather have gone in a nice, large group. Well, for one thing, I wouldn't have screamed as much. You know, trying to keep up my rep. Haha, kidding lah. About the rep anyway. But it really would have been nice to watch in a big group. To you know ...shut me up from screaming as much. Not that I screamed that much. Maybe a couple of times. Okay fine, slightly more than that.
I have to admit though, it was the first time I watched a horror film in a cinema. Sad. I'd usually watch in the safety of my home where I can wrap myself up in my soft, cozy blanket (that can magically protect me), grab my pillow (see no evil) and where the volume can be controlled.
Speaking of volume, It was so loud that even when I covered my ears, I could hear the rattle of the teacup. I was thinking, "Can someone pass the remote in this direction please". Really. It was the second time that Sabrinah was watching it so knew when the terrifying scenes were. So when I saw her fingers racing to cover her ears, I knew it was my cue to do the same. The only downside was it wasn't as much fun scaring myself but pshht, the volume was so loud, so it's a reasonable excuse. Eh, reason.
At some parts, I was scared, no, more like shocked to bits that I immediately squeezed Sabrinah's arm for comfort. She simply swat my hand off. Only when I was seated properly did I realize that I took up a third of her seat space just leaning towards her and cowering behind her.
I looked around and everyone else was watching intently, unnerved and totally cool. Wellll, either that or they were wetting their pants and squeezing their eyes shut tight. The coolest one must have been the guy beside me. He was alone and didn't even flinch or wince during the gross/ scary scenes. He was so relaxed, sipping his drink. And I could've sworn he chuckled at me while I was shrieking. But there were some scenes that were funny though and Sabrinah and I laughed out loud. I managed to hear the guy beside let out a laugh too. I was surprised at that.
Anywayyy, today I watched it again at Haziqah's place with Brian and Vignesh cause they hadn't seen it yet. And yesssss ah. It was the deafening volume Golden Village played it on. Blame it on the vo vo-vo-vo-vo-volume. :D
While watching the movie(at the cinema), I was wondering how much more greater it would have been if I watched it with Debbie, Haziqah, Azhar.
Okay I gotta go now. Ahh. "Surrender the laptop or else".
